BigBlueBugs in Cambodia!!!

So after two long days of travel, Laura and I have made it to Siem Reap, Cambodia. Its a little bit different than New Zealand, but we think we are adjusting pretty well! We have toured most of the famous Ankor temples, rode our bikes through villages and farms. We have been asked about 1000 times if we need a "tuk tuk" (the cambodian version of a taxi... a carriage attatched to a scooter). We have met some beautiful people... and have had some great food!!! Here are a few pics from our first few days here.

Dear Christian and Laura,
I was so happy to see that you've begun to blog again. I received your beautiful email upon your departure from beautiful NZ, and was touched by your loving, appreciative remarks. The two of you have inspired me so much that I am planning a trip to Asia (for one year) and then NZ (for another year). This isn’t immediate, of course, but it will happen in a couple of years. The transition home was difficult, and I miss the lifestyle that shared with the two of you in the Valley. I carried it with me through the rest of my travels in NZ (with Sarah at the end) and have continued to be connected to this beautiful planet that we call home.
I am so pleased that I get to share your adventures and beautiful sites through the wonder of the world wide web. I hope that this experience helps you to grow and spread joy throughout the world, despite all barriers that may appear at first.
Everyone has a choice in their path, and yours is quite unique. Both of you have truly touched me…Christian with your brotherly nagging and advice about ‘chilling out’ and Laura with her joyful work ethic (and jokes about chickens). Even though I only spent a short 5 weeks with you, please know that you have affected me in so many ways.
Love,
Alyssa
ps…I was happy to see the photo of Laura with a bigger jumpy. That means she survived during your backpacking trip, yay!
